Burnitude got offered to do a couple of cool gigs and the first one is at Club Distortion in Östhammar with the band Vörgus 30 April and the second is at Snövit in Stockholm with the band Apes IQ the day after on friday 1 May.
The band feels really good about it, to be taking Burnitude live on stage again - it's way too long between times! Now they'll focus on rehearsing a kick-ass live-set into shape.

The recording of the upcoming Burnitude-release "This is for you!" has taken (and probably will continue doing so) it's time due to different reasons. But we don't see any reason to stress it so it will take the time it takes.
The band has put a lot of time on rehearsing the material and tried to figure out which tunes to choose and how to perform them. After realizing that Burnitude wanted and should - and will - go for a more rawer and more kick-ass approach, back towards the early Burnitude-days, most of the songs have been rearranged in the rehearsal process. That's all done now. Everything's written and arranged. All the band needs now is to decide how to record it and the time to do it.
We'll get back to you when things starts happening. Until then: BUY A F**KN T-SHIRT!

Burnitude will be heading for the studio to record a full-length album. It will be around 8-10 new songs that will make it in the end and the work is now estimated to start in winter 2008. We'll keep you updated on that.
When asked to do a gig at one of Stockholm's premiere rock-clubs, ROQ, the band off course said: "Yeah".
(The set-list will contain some new songs from the upcoming album.)

So the band decided to release the new songs one at the time and the first one out is the genuine Burnitude kick-ass action rocker "The Club for Internal Admire". The song is about being yourself, doing what you believe in and stick to it no matter what - just like Burnitude, we are that club - and yes, the abbreviation is "CIA" and no, it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the US intelligence agency.
Each of the new song will get it's own sleeve artwork and focused attention, as if they were singles - 'cause every one of the new songs are single-material!

Burnitude is now heavily active at myspace - http://www.myspace.com/burnitude - and have since it was all put into activity, in less than three months, passed the magic number of a thousand both in friends and plays. So thanks to all the support over there - we will surely continue our activity there. So come and check us out and add us you who haven't already!
Burnitude is at heavy work rehearsing the new songs and some covers - making it all super-tight! The band is searching and checking out which people to involve in the recording-process, a couple of producers have announced their interest in the band and the new material so it's taken under consideration. Also where and in what way to do it all.
