B U R N I T U D E
F A Q
Asked by you, answered by PM
How did you come up with the band-name, the word, "Burnitude"?
It just came up when we were forced to change name: We burn for what we do and we do it with attitude - Burni f**kin tude!
Why does it sometimes take so long between turns?
Well, we got lives and other obligations and one thing Burnitude should and will NOT be is pushed and forced.
How is it people who are into total different styles of metal, from Black/Death to Sleaze/AOR, through Progressive, dig Burnitude?
Don't know. We're uncategorizable? I guess we're the right mix of everything, all good thing in one.
How come you aren't signed?
Why should we be?
Why did the band change it's name from Burner to Burnitude in 2000?
'Cause it's way cooler!
(...in reality PM got a law-suit threat from lawers representing the management and record company that owned the name)
Why a 3-piece band and not 4 or 5?
Because we can. There's no need to involve more people than necessary. - and we're REAL 3-piece being only 3 live as well!
You have some political directions in some songs, are you a political band?
I think that if you have an opinion you are political. I write the lyrics and I sure hell have opinions. About everything.
Do you consider yourself being a punk or a metal band?
We play music.
Are you guys related since all your surnames are Burner?
As related as the The Ramones or The Hellacopters or... Nah, just keeping the tradition alive - Nevertheless, we're brothers for sure!
